I received my massage therapy training from the Ashland Institute of Massage in Ashland, Oregon, and was licensed in the state of Oregon in 2013. Prior to massage I worked in the dental field where I gained valuable experience in both the healthcare industry as well as office management. I have thoroughly enjoyed the transition into the massage therapy field and am blessed to be in a profession that allows both creativity and a constant study of the human body. The importance of preventative treatment and a proactive lifestyle were a prominent part of my massage education and I look forward to sharing it with others.
Outside of work my husband and I are avid backpackers and will take any chance we get to head to the mountains! We are Oregonians through and through (yes, we love to hike in the rain) and you will often see us out for a walk on the Jacksonville trail systems with our dog, Darby. When not hiking, I love trying new recipes in the kitchen and have been known to throw in a few veggies from my own garden (the plants that survive, that is!).
